For us, Fòla represents the essence of Cannonau.
Vines that the winery tends directly from an agronomic point of view, monitoring the ripening of the skin and the sugar content though sensory and laboratory analysis.
This variety has found its ideal habitat in Sardinia, and it is only in this territory that it achieves that richness of aroma and polyphenols that rise it to the height of prince of all the island’s reds.

Organoleptic characteristics
Ruby red in colour.
The fragrance is that of a rich bouquet of ripe fruit, plum and amarene cherries that blend with spicy notes and a finale of cherries in spirit.
A wine with a warm, soft and harmonious flavour. A persistent aroma with a silky vein of tannin.

Cannonau
The Cannonau grape, with its low yield and extreme weather conditions (drought, heat, wind), produces velvety and structured red wines of considerable longevity and high alcohol content.
Cannonau is considered to be the most popular variety of red grape in Sardinia.
For me, the wines of Siddùra are like the most treasured of wines. When I opened this bottle, it was like reliving my experience in the winery, recalling the warm welcome and the wonderful kindness, as well as the gifts I received, like this. A complex and structured Cannonau, with an impenetrable colour, an aroma of small, wild fruits and an enveloping flavour. For me, this is a wine for meditation!
