Vermentino
Vermentino is the most famous and acclaimed white grape variety in Sardinia.
Its relatively late maturing contributes to its full-bodied structure.
The final product is an exceptionally intense straw-yellow colour, with slight hints of green.
It has a slightly bitter, mineral flavour, with an accentuated floral bouquet.
Definitely one of the best Sardinian Vermentinos I have ever tried; extremely fragrant, hints of fruit of perfect persistence, a subdued flavour, almost sweet, the very essence of Sardinia in a precious bottle that is excellent value for money! I will definitely be ordering some for myself. Try it!
